Transmission is a coming-of-age series following Cheng Yue, a boy passionate about cosplay and cross-dressing, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he agrees to pose as a girl to meet his sister Jin Yao's fiancé, Mu Jianfeng. What begins as a simple deception spirals into unforeseen consequences that force Cheng Yue to confront fundamental questions about identity, love, and family bonds.
