Il segreto di Luca is an Italian drama following Luca Sabatini, who returns to his Abruzzo village in 1946 after years in prison. His homecoming coincides with the arrival of Andrea Cipriani, a party official celebrated as a war hero and son of Luca's former best friend. Luca's conviction haunts him deeply, but what troubles him more is the mystery of his own silence during trial—he never defended himself despite his innocence.
