Die Oliver Pocher Show is a German late-night comedy series that aired on Sat.1 on Friday evenings. Hosted by comedian Oliver Pocher, each episode opens with stand-up comedy followed by celebrity interviews on a couch set. The show ran from October 2009 to March 2011 across two seasons, recorded at the Residenz Theater in Cologne with occasional live broadcasts. Despite being positioned as a ratings boost for the network, the series struggled to attract viewers and underwent several format changes, including replacing the traditional desk with a couch and swapping the live band for a female DJ. Pocher's father Gerard, who initially appeared as a sidekick, was later replaced by puppet characters. The show ultimately failed to reverse Sat.1's Friday evening ratings decline and was cancelled after its brief run.
