Different Lives(2026)

Different Lives follows four young men—Emir, Hasan, Sadık, and Mert—growing up in Ziyankâr, a working-class neighborhood on Istanbul's outskirts. Trapped in cycles of poverty and violence, they see soccer as their only viable escape route. The series chronicles their struggle to break free from despair through friendship and shared ambition, exploring whether talent and determination can overcome the odds stacked against them. Set against the gritty backdrop of urban Turkey, Different Lives examines how circumstances of birth shape opportunity, and what it takes for young men with nothing to fight for something.
