HypaSpace
HypaSpace(2002)
HypaSpace is a weekly entertainment news series that aired on Space, a Canadian cable channel, covering science fiction and fantasy across film, television, books, comics and community events. Created by Simon Evans and Michelle Dudas, the show ran daily and weekly segments with a casual, irreverent tone. Original host Jonathan Llyr was joined by Kim Poirier in May 2005, who became the primary presenter until her departure in July 2007. Llyr returned to hosting duties during Poirier's absences and also hosted the HypaSpace podcast starting in October 2006, later taken over by Mark Askwith. The series produced approximately 1,480 episodes across its run, with daily segments ceasing in mid-December 2007, leaving only weekend editions in its final year. HypaSpace segments also aired between other Space programs as interstitial content.
