Star Ocean EX is an anime series following Claude C. Kenni, a spaceship crewmember stranded on Expel, a medieval world of swords and magic. The locals mistake him for a legendary Warrior of Light, and he reluctantly joins forces with Rena Lanford and other allies to investigate the Sorcery Globe—a mysterious meteorite wreaking havoc across the planet. As Claude navigates this strange new world, he must uncover the truth behind the artifact's destructive power while grappling with his isolation from his own advanced civilization.
