Tree of Heaven(2006)

Tree of Heaven is a Korean-Japanese drama following Hana, an optimistic teenager living at her mother's hot springs inn. When her mother marries a Korean man, Hana befriends her reserved new stepbrother Yoon Seo, gradually breaking through his icy exterior. As they grow closer, Yoon Seo develops romantic feelings, but Hana resists crossing the taboo line between step-siblings. After high school, she moves to Tokyo with another suitor and loses touch with Yoon Seo. Two years later, the pair reunites alongside Hana's cousin Maya, each having taken divergent paths. The series explores how time and distance reshape their bond while testing whether their connection can survive the complications of family, duty, and unresolved desire.
