Story Parade(1964)

Story Parade was a 1964 television adaptation series focused on modern novels. The episode aired June 5, 1964, with a repeat broadcast on August 28, 1964. Terry Nation, creator of Blake's 7 and the Daleks, wrote the teleplay, while Peter Cushing starred as detective Elijah Baley. John Carson played R. Daneel Olivaw, with Kenneth J. Warren in supporting role. The production drew from Isaac Asimov's science fiction work. Unfortunately, the master tapes were erased, though fragments have surfaced in documentaries about Asimov's legacy. Despite its brief existence, the episode remains a notable piece of early television science fiction history.
