The Young Person's Guide to Becoming a Rock Star is a British comedy series that aired on Channel 4 in 1998. Created by Bryan Elsley, the six-part satire follows Jocks Wa Hey, a struggling Glaswegian band navigating the cutthroat music industry. The show balances sharp wit with genuine insight into the chaos of chasing stardom, capturing both the absurdity and desperation of young musicians trying to break through.
