The Wedge(2006)

The Wedge is an Australian sketch comedy series created by Ian McFadyen and produced by Network Ten. Running for two seasons in 2006 and 2007, the show featured an ensemble cast including Dailan Evans, Adam Zwar, Jason Gann, Rebel Wilson, Kate Jenkinson, and Katrina Mathers, with guest appearances from Julia Zemiro and others. The second season expanded the lineup to include Damian Callinan and Cal Wilson. The Wedge averaged around a million viewers per episode during its first run. The show's success led to a spin-off mockumentary, Marks Loves Sharon, which premiered in 2008 and centred on the character Mark Wary, played by Jason Gann.
