Kismat(2011)

Kismat is an Indian drama series that aired on Sony Entertainment Television, following two men born on the same day but in vastly different worlds. Aditya Raj Merchant is a wealthy industrialist; Kabir Khan struggles in poverty. Despite their opposing circumstances, both share an unrelenting drive to succeed. Set in Mumbai, the series draws inspiration from Jeffrey Archer's 1979 novel Kane and Abel, adapting the classic tale of ambition and rivalry to an Indian context. The show premiered in February 2011 and explored how destiny and determination shape two lives on a collision course, examining themes of class, power, and the price of ambition across the city's contrasting landscapes.
