Survivor Türkiye(2005)

Survivor Türkiye is the Turkish adaptation of the international reality competition format. The series premiered on Kanal D in 2005 before moving to Show TV, where it ran in 2006, 2007, and 2010. The show became an immediate hit with Turkish audiences, but production costs proved unsustainable for both networks. A hiatus followed in 2007, with the series returning three years later. Prize money escalated across seasons: the first two offered 150,000 euros, the third increased to 250,000 euros, and the fourth season raised the stakes to 500,000 dollars. Despite its popularity, the financial burden of mounting the competition prevented consistent annual broadcasts.
