Grimm is a supernatural crime drama following Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he's descended from an elite line of criminal profilers called Grimms—individuals with the rare ability to see supernatural creatures hidden in plain sight. As Nick grapples with his newfound powers and heritage, he must balance his day job investigating murders with his secret role protecting humanity from the supernatural threats lurking in his city. The series blends procedural detective work with dark fantasy, as Nick uncovers a hidden world of werewolves, vampires, and other creatures that most people never know exist. His detective skills and Grimm abilities become increasingly entangled, forcing him to navigate dangerous moral questions about justice, loyalty, and what it truly means to protect the innocent.
