C.O.P.S.(1988)

C.O.P.S. is an animated series that aired from 1988 to 1989, following a futuristic police force protecting Empire City from the criminal mastermind Big Boss and his gang. Produced by DIC Entertainment and Celebrity Home Entertainment, the show was based on Hasbro's 1988 action figure line. The series combined sci-fi action with law-and-order storytelling, delivering fast-paced adventures aimed at Saturday morning audiences. When the show returned in reruns on CBS in 1993, it was rebranded as CyberCOPS to avoid confusion with the unrelated primetime reality series that debuted in 1989. Though short-lived, C.O.P.S. became a cult favorite among fans of 1980s animated action shows.
