Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket is a six-episode OVA series set during the final days of the One Year War. Ten-year-old Alfred Izuhara lives in a space colony caught between two military forces. When he befriends Bernie Wiseman, a young Zeon pilot, Al becomes entangled in the conflict between the Earth Federation and Zeon. His former babysitter, Christina MacKenzie, reappears in his life—but she's now a Federation test pilot for the experimental Gundam NT-4. As mobile suits clash around the colony, Al must navigate the moral weight of war through the eyes of a child, watching his new friendships collide with larger forces beyond his control.
