Ciao Darwin is an Italian variety game show that has been adapted for audiences worldwide, from Romania and Hungary to the USA and China. Two teams of roughly 50 people each, selected to embody opposing stereotypes, face off in a series of outlandish competitions. Random audience members are chosen to participate in games testing bravery, style, and talent—many deliberately designed to embarrass contestants. The format escalates through physical challenges, including a notorious assault course introduced in the Italian version in 2010, before culminating in the Finale, a chaotic water tank showdown.
