The Holy Monsters(2012)

The Holy Monsters is a Japanese medical drama following Shiba Kengo, an idealistic surgeon transferred from a prestigious university hospital to a struggling facility. There he encounters Kasugai Yuka, a pragmatic chief nurse who exposes him to the harsh realities of healthcare work. As Kengo navigates his new environment, he discovers that the respected doctors, nurses, and educators around him are far more flawed and self-serving than they appear. The series peels back professional facades to reveal the true motivations and moral compromises that define modern medicine.
