La Chacala(1997)

La Chacala is a Mexican horror series that unfolds a family curse born from vengeance. When Javier kills what he believes is a deer while hunting, he discovers he's shot a man. His servants dispose of the body, but the victim's mother—a local witch—learns of the murder and curses Javier's pregnant wife Delia to bear twin daughters, one of them a fearsome demoness. Delia dies giving birth to the twins, leaving an impossible mystery: which girl is the monster? Years later, the identical sisters have grown into strikingly different women. Gilda is an independent doctor living in the city, while Liliana remains frail and confined to the ranch. One of them harbors the Chacala, a malevolent force ready to unleash terror on everyone around her. The series explores which twin carries the curse and what darkness lies beneath their beautiful exterior.
