The World Wars is a documentary series that traces three decades of global conflict through the lives of eight pivotal leaders: Roosevelt, Hitler, Patton, Mussolini, Churchill, Tojo, DeGaulle, and MacArthur. Rather than treating the two wars as separate events, the series connects them as one continuous timeline from 1914 to 1945, following how these men came of age during World War I before wielding power during World War II. By interweaving their personal stories with major historical events, The World Wars reveals how individual ambition, ideology, and circumstance shaped the course of the twentieth century's most devastating conflicts.
