Liebe, Lügen, Leidenschaften is a German drama that follows the collision of personal crisis and corporate warfare. When celebrated Viennese fashion designer Franz Steiniger discovers he's terminally ill, he abandons his empire and flees to Italy with his lover Barbara Landau. Left behind, his wife Elisabeth and their son Albert—along with Albert's wife Alpha—must fight to save the family business from a hostile takeover by a wealthy American fast-fashion conglomerate. As the company teeters on the brink of collapse, the family's fractured relationships and hidden resentments surface.
