The Principal(2015)

The Principal is an Australian drama series following history teacher Matt Bashir after his promotion to principal of a rough boys' school in Sydney's south-west. Armed with unconventional methods, Bashir challenges the school's violent culture and disrupts its power structures, but his radical reforms come at a personal cost. As his private life unravels under scrutiny, a crisis forces him to confront the limits of his idealism: a 17-year-old student is found dead on school grounds. The discovery threatens to undo everything he's worked toward and raises difficult questions about responsibility, institutional failure, and whether real change is possible in a system designed to resist it.
