The Monster of Florence is a miniseries that chronicles eight double murders committed between 1968 and 1985 in the Florentine countryside. Young couples were systematically killed in their cars while seeking privacy, leaving a trail of unsolved deaths that haunted the region. The series centers on Renzo Rontini's relentless personal quest for justice after his daughter Pia and her boyfriend Claudio Stefanacci were murdered in Vicchio, Mugello, on July 29, 1984. Through Rontini's determined investigation, the miniseries explores both the brutal crimes and the anguish of families desperate for answers as authorities struggle to identify the killer responsible for the killings.
