Hallo, det er jul! is a Norwegian Christmas series that continues the story of Gammelby in the early 1900s. As industrialization transforms the small town, a wealthy baron's new factory threatens to put the local clog maker out of business, upsetting the children who depend on him. With help from mischievous elves, they scheme to outwit the baron and save their community. Meanwhile, the town's switchboard operator eavesdrops on every call, becoming the hub of local gossip. The series blends period charm with festive magic, capturing a moment when tradition clashes with progress and childhood wonder prevails.
