Reverse(2017)

Reverse follows Kazuhisa Fukase, a university graduate drifting through an unremarkable life, whose only real talent lies in brewing exceptional coffee. Each cup reminds him of Yoshiki Hirosawa, his closest friend from university who died in a snowboarding accident a decade ago. When Fukase meets the captivating Mihoko Ochi at a coffee shop, his world shifts. At a professor's retirement party, he encounters Kosuke Asai, who was present during that fatal snowboarding trip, and journalist Toshio Ogasawara, who has been investigating the circumstances surrounding Hirosawa's death. As these connections converge, Fukase finds himself drawn into questions about his friend's past and the truth he may have been avoiding.
