Fugitive Boys is a high school drama that follows Tobio Masubuchi and his friends as their ordinary lives unravel after a violent confrontation. When students from a rival school brutally beat Tobio's group, they plot revenge. But on the day they plan to strike back, the other school burns down—and Tobio and his friends become the prime suspects. Caught between their desire for justice and a crime they didn't commit, the group must navigate suspicion, danger, and the possibility of being hunted. The series explores themes of loyalty, guilt, and survival as ordinary teenagers are forced into extraordinary circumstances.
