Our Story(2017)

Our Story is a Turkish drama series that follows Filiz, a twenty-year-old who has given up her education and youth to raise her five younger siblings after their mother leaves and their alcoholic father proves incapable. When Barış, a mysterious man, enters her life and develops strong feelings for her, Filiz faces an impossible choice between pursuing love and maintaining her family's survival. Starring Hazal Kaya and Burak Deniz, the series ran for two seasons across 70 episodes on FOX Turkey. Adapted from the international hit Shameless, Our Story balances intimate character drama with the raw complications of poverty and family obligation, exploring whether romance can flourish amid relentless hardship.
