Battle of the Psychics is a Russian reality competition series that puts self-proclaimed psychics to the test. Based on Britain's Psychic Challenge, the show recruits 8–13 participants claiming superior extrasensory abilities, then systematically challenges them to prove their powers are genuine. Early tasks are straightforward—identifying sealed box contents or objects hidden behind screens—but difficulty escalates as the competition progresses. Each week, judges eliminate the weakest performer, though all contestants advance if the panel cannot reach a consensus. The series strips away the mystique surrounding psychic claims, revealing whether participants possess authentic abilities or rely on cold reading and deception.
