March of Millions(2007)

March of Millions is a historical drama set in 1944 Eastern Prussia, following Lena von Mahlenberg, daughter of a local aristocrat, as her world collapses. Like many Germans around her, Lena hopes Hitler will surrender and protect them from the advancing Soviet Red Army. When those hopes prove false, she and her community face an impossible choice: flee or face the consequences of invasion. The series captures the desperation and moral complexity of ordinary people caught between a failing regime and an unstoppable enemy, exploring how quickly certainty turns to chaos and survival becomes the only priority.
