Kagirohi: Shaku Kei - Another is a mystery series that opens with the death of Kirishima Kaede, found dead in an old countryside schoolhouse. Her childhood friend Takahashi Aoi refuses to accept the official verdict of suicide, convinced instead that she was murdered. When Aoi sits alone in a classroom wrestling with his doubts, a mysterious transfer student named Minazuki Ajisai approaches him, setting in motion an investigation that will uncover the truth behind Kaede's death. As Aoi and Ajisai dig deeper, they unearth secrets buried within the school's walls and confront the possibility that nothing about Kaede's death is what it seems.
