No Way Back(1971)

No Way Back is a Soviet war series set in October 1943. After escaping a concentration camp, Red Army Major Toporkov alerts a partisan detachment to an imminent uprising and urgent need for weapons. The commander devises a risky strategy: dispatching two convoys simultaneously, one carrying genuine arms and the other loaded with decoys to confuse the Germans. The catch is a suspected traitor embedded within their ranks. Both convoys must traverse the treacherous terrain of Polesie—dense forests and sprawling swamps—while evading relentless German pursuit. With no safe route home and enemies closing in, the partisans face impossible odds in a desperate race against time and betrayal.
