Mary & Mike is a Chilean series following two DINA secret police agents tasked with eliminating political opponents of Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship. Mary maintains a public persona as a writer embedded in Santiago's cultural elite, while Mike, a skilled electronics expert, poses as an ordinary suburban resident. The couple lives with their children in the outskirts of Santiago, hosting lavish parties that mask their true work. Behind closed doors and in their own backyard, they torture, murder, and conduct weapons experiments. The series explores the duality of their lives—the façade of normalcy and social standing concealing systematic state violence and terror. It's a dark examination of complicity, compartmentalization, and the machinery of authoritarian repression during one of Latin America's most brutal regimes.
