High & Dry is a dark comedy series about an air steward who survives a plane crash on a tropical island and immediately assumes leadership of the stranded passengers. His authority quickly becomes unbearable as the survivors realize they're trapped with Brett Sullivan, a genuinely terrible human being whose presence poisons even paradise. What begins as relief at rescue transforms into a battle of wills as the group confronts not just the challenges of survival, but the far more dangerous problem of coexisting with someone utterly devoid of redeeming qualities. The show explores how desperation and isolation test relationships when the real threat isn't nature—it's the person standing next to you.
