Revue Starlight(2018)

Revue Starlight is an anime series following two childhood friends separated by fate. Karen and Hikari promised to perform together in the legendary Starlight play, but years later, Hikari has moved away. Now 16, Karen pursues her dream through daily lessons while holding onto their bond. When the girls unexpectedly reunite, they're drawn into a mysterious audition alongside other talented Stage Girls. The competition tests not only their performance skills but their friendship as they vie for a place in the revue. Blending magical girl elements with theatrical ambition, the series explores themes of dreams, destiny, and the sacrifices required to achieve them on stage.
