Hades Project Zeorymer(1988)

Hades Project Zeorymer is a mecha anime series following Akitsu Masato, a student whose ordinary life shatters when a secret government program called Last Guardian reveals he's been engineered to pilot Zeorymer of the Heavens, a powerful robot. The shock deepens when Masato discovers his parents were paid to raise him. Fifteen years earlier, the terrorist organization Hau Dragon created eight mecha representing natural forces, but their creator destroyed all but one before defecting to the government with Zeorymer and an embryo—which became Masato. Now Hau Dragon has rebuilt the seven lost robots and hunts for the eighth. Masato and fellow pilot Himuro must defend the world in Zeorymer, though both harbor secrets that complicate their mission against an enemy bent on global conquest.
