Black President(2014)

Black President is a Japanese drama series that follows Mitamura Yukio, a ruthless apparel company founder who prioritizes profits over worker welfare. Convinced that demanding labor is justified, he remains blind to his company's exploitation of employees. While enrolling in university management courses, Mitamura clashes with idealistic lecturer Akiyama Kyoko, whose values directly oppose his own. Through unexpected interactions with the "pressure-free generation"—young people he initially dismisses—Mitamura begins to question his philosophy. Meanwhile, internal forces within his company plot to remove him from power. As Mitamura finally recognizes the exploitation he's enabled, a dangerous power struggle erupts within the organization. The series explores themes of corporate greed, generational conflict, and personal transformation as a man confronts the consequences of his ambition.
