Furifure the Animation follows Yui, a runaway who encounters her friend in town and is tricked into joining Free Friends, a matchmaking website. Desperate and uncertain about the platform, she waits for contact. When the main character reaches out, they arrange to meet in the city's red-light district. What begins as a chance encounter spirals into an unexpected connection between two strangers seeking escape from their lives.
