Crimes of Passion(1998)

Crimes of Passion is a Hong Kong crime series following Detective Fan, who leads the Special Duty Squad investigating prostitution rackets across the city. Experienced and dogged, Fan and his sergeant Tit have dismantled everything from exclusive escort rings to coercive loan-shark operations. But Fan's personal life crumbles when his wife divorces him and a prostitute accuses him of rape. Detective Fung, assigned to the case, initially suspects him—until she uncovers the truth and develops feelings for him instead. Complications deepen when the squad targets a gang boss named Lung, who also happens to be competing with Tit for the affections of their colleague Kwan. As professional duty and personal stakes collide, the detectives must navigate corruption, betrayal, and desire to bring down the criminal network.
