Canevim(2019)

Canevim follows Maraz Ömer, a poor orphan working construction in Kars, and Ceylan, a woman cleaning houses to survive. The two plan to marry once they've saved enough money, but their fragile dreams fracture when Taylan, a wealthy and arrogant young man, begins abusing Ceylan. As Taylan's cruelty intensifies, Ömer and Ceylan must navigate class conflict and personal trauma while fighting to protect their love. Set against the backdrop of economic hardship, the series explores how power imbalances and privilege can destroy ordinary lives, and whether two people from nothing can overcome the forces arrayed against them.
