Jujutsu Kaisen is a supernatural anime series following Yuji Itadori, a high schooler with exceptional strength who makes a fateful choice to save a classmate. When he swallows a cursed finger to protect his friend from supernatural entities, he becomes host to Ryomen Sukuna, a powerful demon trapped within his body. Now bound to this dark force, Yuji is recruited by Satoru Gojo, the world's strongest sorcerer, and enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High School—an institution dedicated to battling curses. The series chronicles Yuji's transformation from ordinary teenager into a jujutsu sorcerer, forced to master his new abilities while containing a malevolent presence he can never fully escape. Dark, action-packed, and emotionally grounded, the show blends intense combat with genuine character development.
