Breakers is an anime series that follows para-athletes across four distinct sports disciplines. Each story centers on wheelchair basketball, track and high jump, goalball, and paralympic swimming, with the athletes united by their connection to Ren Narita, an outcast sports scientist. The series explores the determination, rivalry, and personal growth of these competitors as they push their limits in their respective events. Through Narita's unconventional mentorship, the athletes confront their own barriers—both physical and mental—while pursuing excellence at the highest levels of paralympic competition.
