Ming Dynasty(2019)

Ming Dynasty is a historical drama following Sun Ruo Wei, whose family is massacred by the Yongle Emperor in 1402. She survives in secret and later becomes concubine to crown prince Zhu Zhan Ji. Torn between investigating her family's death and protecting the stability of the court, Sun Ruo Wei abandons her revenge after growing to love the prince. When Zhu Zhan Ji dies after a decade ruling, she becomes Empress Dowager to their young son, Zhu Qi Zhen. The series traces her transformation from a woman seeking vengeance to a devoted empress navigating palace intrigue and the weight of imperial duty during China's Ming era.
