Grayson Perry: All Man(2016)

Grayson Perry: All Man is a documentary series in which Turner Prize-winning artist and double BAFTA-award-winning presenter Grayson Perry examines contemporary British masculinity from an outsider's perspective. As a cross-dressing, mountain-biking father, Perry brings distinctive insight to his investigation of male identity. Each episode takes him into a different ultra-masculine subculture—from military bases to bodybuilding gyms to working-class communities—to understand what these worlds reveal about modern manhood. Perry interrogates his own prejudices and upbringing while exploring how expectations of masculinity are shifting across Britain. The series balances anthropological curiosity with personal reflection, asking what it means to be a man today and challenging conventional notions of gender expression and identity.
