Katts and Dog(1988)

Katts and Dog is a French-Canadian television series that aired from 1988 to 1993, following police officer Hank Katts and his canine partner as they fight crime together. The show tracks Hank's early days at the Police Academy, his partnership with the dog (originally named Rudy), and his relationship with his nephew Steve, whom he adopts after Steve's mother's death. Early episodes establish how Katts and his four-legged partner meet and begin their crime-fighting career. The series was broadcast internationally under different titles: Rin Tin Tin: K-9 Cop in the United States, Rintintin Junior in France, and Katts and Dog in Britain and Canada. A 1991 TV movie sent the pair to Paris. The show blends action and family drama, centering on the bond between officer and dog as they tackle cases and personal challenges.
