Barry is a dark comedy series following a hitman from the Midwest who relocates to Los Angeles and unexpectedly finds himself drawn into the city's theatre community. What begins as a chance acting class becomes an obsession that pulls him away from his criminal past and into a world of artistic ambition and human connection. Caught between two lives—one of violence and one of creative expression—Barry struggles to reinvent himself while his handler demands he return to contract killing. The series explores themes of identity, redemption, and the cost of trying to escape who you are. Sharp, darkly funny, and increasingly tense, Barry balances black comedy with genuine character drama as its protagonist grapples with whether transformation is possible or if his past will always define him.
