Baskets(2016)

Baskets follows Chip Baskets, a man determined to pursue his dream of becoming a French clown, only to have reality derail his ambitions. Broke and unable to speak French, he retreats to his hometown of Bakersfield, California, where he takes work as a rodeo clown. Back under his mother's roof, Chip must reckon with his troubled past while competing with his siblings for parental approval and love. The series blends dark comedy with genuine pathos as it explores what happens when childhood dreams collide with small-town life and family dysfunction.
