Batman Beyond(1999)

Batman Beyond is an animated series set in a futuristic Gotham City where an aging Bruce Wayne has retired from crime-fighting. When troubled teenager Terry McGinnis discovers the Dark Knight's secret identity, Wayne reluctantly trains him to become the new Batman. As a wave of high-tech villains threatens the city, Terry must balance his double life as a student and vigilante while earning the respect of his mentor. The series explores themes of legacy, redemption, and what it means to carry on an iconic mantle in a dystopian future.
