BMF is a crime drama series inspired by the true story of brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory, who built one of America's most influential drug trafficking organizations from the streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s. The brothers expanded their empire beyond narcotics into hip-hop, leveraging their growing power and connections. The series explores their rise through a lens of family loyalty, ambition, and the darker side of pursuing the American dream. Grounded in real events, BMF examines how two siblings transformed their circumstances into a criminal enterprise that shaped both street culture and the music industry, while grappling with the consequences of their choices and the bonds that hold them together.
