Broken Trust is a drama series centered on Chin Tai-hoi, a ruthless businessman who dominates his family and workplace with an iron fist. When Tai-hoi is kidnapped, his employee Chiu Yat-ming rescues him, earning his trust. Paranoid and shaken, Tai-hoi moves into Yat-ming's home and asks him to investigate the attack. But complications arise when Tai-hoi discovers that Yat-ming's father is the ex-boyfriend of his estranged daughter, whom he's been secretly sabotaging. As Tai-hoi grows closer to Yat-ming, his obsession with money and control begins to crack. The series explores themes of family betrayal, redemption, and whether a man consumed by greed can truly change when faced with genuine human connection.
