D.I.E.(2008)

D.I.E. is a Hong Kong police procedural series following the misfit detectives of the Death Investigation Extension, a unit where problematic officers are exiled to handle cold cases. Yue Chi-Long, a gifted investigator with uncanny instincts who struggles with constant drowsiness, clashes with the newly assigned Ying Jing-Jing, an idealistic detective determined to reform the dysfunctional team. Jing-Jing believes she's been placed there to eventually lead the division, unaware she's been deceived by her former supervisor. As Chi-Long and Jing-Jing tackle unsolved murders, their initial friction masks a growing chemistry.
