Devil Lady(1998)
Devil Lady is a dark anime series following Jun Fudou, a supermodel whose life changes when she encounters Lan Asuka and a monstrous werewolf creature called a devil beast. The confrontation awakens dormant powers within Jun, revealing she's part of humanity's next evolutionary stage—humans capable of transforming into savage beasts. Unlike other devil beasts, Jun retains her humanity after transformation, a trait that makes her valuable and dangerous. Lan Asuka, working for the government's Anti-Beast Special Squad, wants to exploit Jun's abilities to hunt down her own kind. Torn between her newfound powers, her humanity, and those who would weaponize her, Jun must navigate a world where she's both predator and prey. The series explores whether she can forge her own path or remain a pawn in others' hands.
